Former Anna University Vice-Chancellor Mr.M.Rajaram completed his career on May 26, 2016. After He left, Anna University ran without Vice-Chancellor. Most of the certificate came very delay due to not available of Vice-Chancellor. So, Anna University created a new team for hire Vice-Chancellor. That team has 3 members. 3. Vivekanadhan – Director of Technical Education
Totally 170 application received for Anna University Vice-Chancellor post. But Anna University rejected 140 candidates on his first 3 rounds. At last only 6 members going to last round. Mr.M.K Surappa selected in the final round.
